Gippsland

There are five regional ports in the Gippsland area, spanning the 720 kilometres from Inverloch to Mallacoota along Victoria's eastern coastline.

Gippsland Ports was established as a local authority in 1996 to manage Gippslands regional ports:

  • The Port of Anderson Inlet
  • The Port of Corner Inlet and Port Albert
  • The Port of Gippsland Lakes
  • The Port of Snowy River
  • The Port of Mallacoota

Gippsland Ports provides shipping and port operation services to fishing vessels, charter boats, recreational boats and small commercial vessels. These services include construction and maintenance of wharves, jetties and piers, navigation and port operations, business management, berths and moorings, safety and water management and vessel maintenance.

Gippsland Ports also provides and maintains navigation aids, public jetties and over 1,000 pen and swing moorings.
